The brief with this project was to build a datacentre for a rapidly growing ISP and to offer facilities to other customers, one which was a new cornerstone client who had made a commitment to moving quickly!

From concept to completion - The DCDB team selected a suitable site and quickly drew up plans to a budget and timeframe. Utilising the latest energy efficient sealed cold isle technology and innovative power metering - the client would take a business model to market where clients would only pay for power.

This model had not been done before in New Zealand and created a competitive edge by leveraging our design.

This datacentre was designed and delivered on-time and on-budget.

Furthermore, by selecting Rittal Racks designed in Germany which could withstand much larger loads and forces - The datacentre was undamaged during and after the Christchurch earthquake causing no impact on it's hosted customers.
